Review: Local Goat Restaurant

Sharing is caring!

As you can see from the texts they sent, the wait was less than estimated. I may indeed be culturally deprived as hubby always said, but this is the first time a restaurant has asked for my phone number so they can text me when our table is ready. The system seemed to work flawlessly, so bravo for technology!

We were seated in a spacious booth and given menus. Sorry for the glare on the pics of the menu, you can access their menu online here.

We decided to try something new and interesting, so we ordered the Deep Fried Deviled Eggs (Panko breaded cage-free deviled eggs, candied bacon, sriracha, green onions) which came as six deviled eggs to split between the three of us. I was the most hesitant and I thought they were good enough to have a 2nd one. I wouldn’t go to the trouble to duplicate the recipe at home but they were good in my opinion. Here are some pics:

I ordered the Maui Chicken (Grilled teriyaki marinated chicken breast, steamed broccoli, fried rice) and thought it was great.

Adult Son ordered the Black and Blue (Creamy blue cheese, smoked bacon, crispy onions, blackening spice) and had them add peanut butter to it. He seemed very pleased with his choice.

Hubby ordered the Farmhouse (American cheese, fried egg, smoked bacon, garlic aioli). He said it was very tasty.

No food was wasted during this meal with the exception of the salad greens the deviled eggs were nestled in and then only because the waiter came for it before we were able to save the greens for on one of the burgers.

We were too full to even attempt eating dessert while we were there.

We also liked the artwork on the walls so I took photos for you.

We all agreed we would go back and that it was worth waiting for. So if you are in the Pigeon Forge area, consider going to the Local Goat for dinner.

This post was not sponsored, I just love to give my opinion, especially about something so good!
